Life can be hard at times- for all of us. Sometimes it is because of challenging circumstances such as an illness, life transition, or strain on an important relationship. Other times, it’s difficult to recognize the cause of the challenge. From the outside, your life may look wonderful, yet it may not feel that way on the inside. You don’t need to push through on your own. I am here to help. It is crucial that you feel “gotten” by and connected to your therapist. I tailor my approach to the needs of my clients, as everyone is different and there is no “one size fits all” solution to life’s challenges.
I have extensive experience working with people who struggle with anxiety and depression, life transitions, relationship (and marital) issues, chronic illness and pain, and grief. I take an authentic approach to therapy, allowing me to be direct, but also compassionate. There’s always a way to improve your situation, and I am here to help.
In addition to office sessions I also offer Walking Therapy. Research has shown that movement significantly reduces anxiety and depression. Being outside can be grounding and also helps bring the work of therapy into the real world. Together, we will help you gain insight into yourself and make lasting changes.
